FOOD DISTRIBUTION FOR THE HOMELESS

WIND YOUTH CENTER IN MIDTOWN SACRAMENTO 

COMPLETED — JANUARY TO DECEMBER 2023

  • Monthly care packages to at-risk homeless youths, aged between 12 to 24, who frequent a nonprofit counseling center, WIND Youth Services,  in Sacramento
  • Average recipients: 15 to 26 teenagers at any given time during a weekday
  • Occasionally our charity sends proceeds from food drives and also hot lunch trays especially for special events

HOMELESS STUDENTS AT MUSTARD SEED SCHOOL ON NORTH C STREET IN SACRAMENTO

COMPLETED — JANUARY TO DECEMBER 2023

  • Monthly care packages to homeless students, aged between 3 to 14, who gets free elementary education at a nonprofit educational center, Mustard Seed School, in Sacramento
  • Average recipients: 25 to 50 children, at any given time during a weekday
  • We also send monthly hot lunch trays including halal meat dishes

HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS ON THE STREETS OF GREATER SACRAMENTO

COMPLETED — JANUARY TO DECEMBER 2023

  • Simple snacks for the homeless on the streets
  • Monthly quota is 100  to 150 in which 30 to 50 care packages are distributed on a weekly basis by our volunteers
  • The range of delivery areas to the homeless on the streets may cover Downtown Sacramento, Citrus Heights, Carmichael, Rosemont, South Sacramento, East Sacramento, Rancho Cordova, Rosemont, Elk Grove, North Sacramento, Fair Oaks, Gold River
